Therapy
My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored specifically to address your needs and presenting concerns. This means that I use techniques from a variety of psychological theories, including cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based approaches, depending on our therapeutic goals.
I consider a strong therapeutic relationship to be essential for producing significant change in therapy and I devote time to building and maintaining a strong and collaborative relationship. I firmly believe that different approaches work with different people and I am flexible in the types of therapeutic techniques that I use. While my specific approach may vary depending on your concerns, I always welcome any input or feedback regarding your experience in therapy. During your initial session we will discuss your expectations and goals for therapy and my thoughts on how we can best approach working towards them.
